More Details on Demi's Treatment; Sources Say Star Suffered from Eating Disorder

More information on Demi Lovato's treatment and condition has been released. The starlet, who announced via a rep that she had entered a treatment facility for "emotional and physical issues" yesterday (November 1), has reportedly struggled with cutting and bulimia for years. A source explains:

She fought through eating disorders and has struggled with cutting. [She] is taking control by getting help. [She] doesn't have that same kind of love for life that she at one point had. She definitely had body-image issues. She was always conscious of her weight.

Sources are also confirming that a fight with a female tour member convinced Demi that she had to seek treatment.

Miley's Mother Had an Affair!

Just days after Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus announced their divorce, sources are coming forward, saying that Tish had an affair with rocker Bret Michaels! A sources tells Us Weekly that Billy Ray called it quits after he learned about Tish's affair with Bret, as well as one other fling!

The source explains that Bret "became close to the entire family" when he and Miley teamed up to do the controversial duet "Nothing To Lose" earlier this year.

"Billy Ray was completely unaware of what was going on," the source continues. "It was a professional relationship that turned into something more."

Reps for both Bret and Tish have denied these allegations. Meanwhile, Billy Ray is seeking joint custody of the couple's five kids.

Demi's Father Reacts to Her Treatment, Family Angry

Demi Lovato's estranged father has spoken up about her entering treatment, and the rest of Demi's family isn't too happy about it!

Pat Lovato, with whom Demi hasn't spoken in nearly three years, stated:

"The pressure of being a child star] was one of the things I worried about when she signed with Disney. It's in her genes with her mom and dad. Mainly watching her mom. I'd gotten out of it myself. 'Cause someone had to take care of the kids."

Demi's lawyer, Jamie Young, responded with this statement:

"No one speaks for Demi except for her designated representatives. Unfortunately, several people have taken it upon themselves to speak out ? both on and off the record ? about a situation they know nothing about."

And, in response to that, Pat said:

"Demi won't even talk to me. I don't blame Disney; I never said that. I was misquoted. Disney has been wonderful to my daughter. Now their lawyers are warning me not to say anything else."

"I would never blame Dianna. She is a wonderful mother. I love Demi, her sister, Dallas, and Dianna. I think about them all the time and I pray they are OK and safe.

Since then, Demi

"Our entire family appreciates the outpouring of support we have received from Demi's fans. We are touched by their kindness."

It's not like Demi's father said anything too outrageous. Maybe it wasn't his place to comment on the story, but he said what many of us were thinking: fame isn't good for Demi.

We're hoping, for everyone's sake, that Demi gets better and this all goes away!

Demi's Father Will Not Be Silenced, Receives Death Threats

Though Patrick Lovato, estranged father of Demi Lovato, was berated by both Disney and Demi's mother for commenting on the star's treatment, he continues to talk!

He has even received a few death threats, including a phone call from someone who stated "You're gonna die for what you did to her."

Patrick has since spoken out against both Disney, Demi's mother, and the death threats, saying "I don't care, let them come at me. I'm not responsible for where Demi is right now... I love my daughter."

He has a point, but he said his piece and really needs to shut up now. This back-and-forth isn't doing Demi any good at all.
